A funny thing happened on the sketching journey

I began my sketching journey in early November. For over a month, I have sketched daily with an artist in the UK. Toby at TobyUrbansketch started the class with basic line drawing and mark-making. In addition, he introduced watercolor to his students. I had been water-coloring for four years with little progress, especially in my “style.” I learned that mistakes are okay and give you an opportunity to see things differently. Sketching has allowed me to see shapes (in everything), color, light, shading, and reflection. That is why I named this New Vision; that is what it means to me.
